O dia 4 da #MuseumWeek teve, como tema, #BehindtheArt, promovendo o edifício que sustenta a obra exposta. Desfilaram as imagens de edifícios evidenciando um uso anterior à função museológica, historiografias da arquitetura dos museus, salas e vitrinas ainda vazias ou museografias arcaicas… Foi um dia de viagens ao passado, com fragmentos de uma história ignorada ou esquecida.
Na minha leitura, hoje, dominaram os museus ingleses, pela lógica e adequação dos conteúdos que propuseram.
A história do British Museu foi traçada da Montagu House à cúpula de Foster.
